The first of the Chinese zodiac signs, Rat, like Aries, is enterprising and visionary, putting energy towards goals for the future and attracting friends and cohorts along the way.

The Year of the Tiger is interesting for Rat and will become very fortuitous if issues and conflicts are dealt with as they arise. Find ways to DEAL WITH things you don't like as opposed to repressing or resisting them. Get a new perspective on how you see yourself, your life and the people in it. 2010 is a fabulous year for new relationship or deeper commitment, especially for those who know themselves and know what they want.

In the year of the Tiger, Ox needs to remember how capable they are! Some months will sail along with a beautiful breeze and others may bring up conflicts IF you are not sure of WHAT YOU WANT. Less competitive than most of the other signs, Rabbit has some of the intuitive, open and artistic qualities of the western zodiac sign of Pisces. Here is the archetype of the peacemaker, a soul not so much interested facing challenges or waging war but more interested in 'going with the flow.' The path of least resistance brings Rabbit to a state of inner tranquility.

How the year of the Tiger unfolds for Rabbit will depend on how you tell your story. If you stop and notice the things that feel loving, creative, powerful and magical, your life will become those things. If you focus on the lack or challenge, it will go that way too. This will be a positive trait for the year of the Tiger as Snake will need to have plenty of 'me' time. The year of the Tiger is outstanding for Horse! Everything you have put into motion over the last 6 years will start to take off in ways you hadn't dreamed were possible. Sharing some qualities with the western zodiac sign of Cancer, Sheep loves quietude, connection and intimacy. They are great nurturers and love to be useful. Sheep also love to be among people, especially friends but not in the spotlight or center stage. They prefer to keep a low profile, not needing too much attention going their way. Sheep are known for their artistic abilities as well.

The Year of the Tiger will have some challenges but over all it will feel a lot smoother than the previous year. The key will be in shaking off some old habits from the past. That may not be easy if you were taught from a young age to believe in a particular way but Tiger is a good year to deprogram yourself from those limiting beliefs. This is also an excellent year to examine relationships of all kinds, friends, partners, lovers and business associates. If it feels like 'Play it Again, Sam' you might want to take some steps towards a new tune!

his sign shares some of the intellectual and quick-silver qualities of western astrology's sign of Virgo including a love friends, witty dialog and analytical capabilities. They don't mind lofty challenges and high sighted goals--they actually thrive when they have something to reach for. With a hefty dose of curiosity, Monkey tends to gain a great deal of information in their travels, turning what they learn into knowledge and wisdom that they can share with others.

Traditionally, Tiger is not the easiest of years for Monkey. Luckily though, this is Metal Tiger and that will help. The key is in allowing for whatever feelings you have and not judging them. The year of the Tiger is one of competition for you. The good thing about it (besides the challenge) is it helps you weigh up what you really want. If you have strong desires and strong beliefs about a job, career, home or relationship you could be well on track, but sometimes it's possible for desire to become so strong it actually holds you back. Everyone needs at least ONE dog friend in their life! This sign shares some of the qualities of western astrology's sign of Libra--fair, gracious, artistic and willing and able to relate. Dogs enjoy being in partnerships and friendships--they are great listeners and attentive allies. This sign, like the animal it represents, has a wild nature too, one that likes to sniff out fun and excitement, be where the action is and discover new things.

The year of the Tiger is fabulous for Dog! This is by far the most successful year for you so spend some time thinking about how you'd like your life to go. It feels lucky, this year, and you'll have plenty of great choices in home, finance, career and relationship. If you find you aren't in the 90% pack of dogs having a smooth and easy year, it could be time to amp up your self-worth. When you feel you deserve to have what you want, accomplish your goals and enjoy loving relationships, you'll be in alignment to experience them! Pig takes pleasure in the 'little things' of taste, touch and visually beauty, smelling the flowers and listening to sweet bird songs. The have a hardworking, ambitions and materialistic side and share some of the qualities of western astrology's Capricorn--pragmatic, earthy, family oriented. They can also be deeply spiritual. More likely to help others than ask for help themselves, Pig is a giver, through and through. Pigs can sometimes indulge in ways that others might find excessive but for this sign it is only an experience of deeply appreciating the object of their fancy.

The year of the Tiger is grand for Pig! There is a lot of creative energy for those in artistic fields and even those with more practical jobs will find their enthusiasm up. Bright ideas come from out of nowhere and you will be honoured and acknowledged for your genius. Travel plans go particularly well and you may find yourself in an airplane or even on a long voyage.
