Mercury Rx Aug 21 - Sept 13
The next three weeks have a two-steps-forward and one-step-back vibe. It can be frustrating in regards to programs, flights, bookings, letters, documents and communiqué of all kinds. Electronics can be tricky. The best approach is to discover what irks you in your life (what you tolerate) and either get rid of it or see it in a better light. Retrograde Mercury says, ‘Rethink, retreat, regroup, reconsider, reorganise, redress.’ Hints for individual signs below. Namaste, Kim

RAM: The area to reconsider during this period is your lifestyle. Is it really what you want, or are you there because of circumstances ‘beyond your control?’ Take stock of your day-to-day—diet, exercise, healthy care, comfort zone and routine. What would you change, if you could?
AUROCHS: The three C’s, children, crafts and creativity, have your attention but they are keeping you from the one true concern—your love life. This is a time to communicate with your lover in new ways, or call one in if you desire. Wish fulfilment is possible. Just say yes.
TWINS: Thoughts turn to home and family now with conversations buzzing around schedules, remodelling, relocating and deep cleaning. This is all symbolic of a deeper strata soul experience. Give yourself enough ‘me’ time to appreciate the inner growth and development.
COBRA: The next three weeks could be a little nuts when it comes to the written or spoken word. You say one thing and they hear another. Emails, sans body language, get misconstrued. Don’t even think about text msg. Use this time for journaling, and speak as concisely as possible.
LION: Ask yourself what pleases you! Our core values change over time but we often forget to upgrade them. Use this Mercury Rx to get in touch with what really gives you a sense of peace and happiness, then let go of the outmoded trends and actions. Awareness is always the first step.
CERES: Your ruler retrograde may not feel like the most powerful time of year but it can be if you take the time to slow down and reflect. Key questions revolve around self-expression and creativity. Are you allowing yourself to reach your highest level of potential? If not, why not?
BALENCIA: Mercury retrograde in the house of secrets and dreams may mean a confidence must be kept, even if you are busting to tell. This may not be deception but a moral dilemma is involved. In the midst, creative inspiration rises. Do what you must to get it down on paper.
SCORPION: Among other things, this is a good time to rethink your goals and all the like-minded-others they keep you connected to. Are you authentically aligned? If so carry on but if not, you might want to find yourself a new crowd, one supportive of your true aspirations.
ARCHER: If you are bored in your current career path, these next three weeks will be particularly tedious. Rather than grin and bear it, consider this a sign from the universe to switch tracks. There are many options out there, with many opportunities. Get exploring!
SEA-GOAT: Commitments and travel plans can go haywire leaving you wondering why you wanted to go anywhere in the first place. Deep breaths. Take your time and allow for wiggle room on either side of your trip, be it literal or flights of fancy. All is well when you let it be.
WATER-BEARER: Mercury Rx in your house of shared resources has you reconsidering any joint financial arrangements, both income and debt. As you sift through the confusion, you’ll have a chance to organise this aspect of your life in a new way. Restructure the boundaries.
FISHES: Communication with partners both business and personal goes down the rabbit hole. Maximum muddle. This isn’t the best time to come to any firm conclusions based on statements delivered or received. Use your gut feelings to make all choices in the next three weeks.
